Where did the StoryMo name come from?
We are storytellers using motion media to create engaging video experiences. It seemed natural to us to combine the words “Story” and “Motion” to create the name StoryMo.
Why StoryMo?
The StoryMo Package is simple, straight-forward and professional. We partner with you to gather key story elements via interview and b-roll. Usually only one StoryMo crew member, a Director Producer will arrive to work with you on the day of the shoot. Our Director Producers are also skilled camera operators who will coach you into delivering a confident interview you can be proud of. They will also work with you to shoot appropriate customer interaction or other scenarios to use as b-roll and then flow all the elements into a beautifully edited custom video.
How can you deliver such a quality video for such a low price?
First, you are working with experienced professionals who have established reputations for delivering quality work. You are not working with people who simply have enough money to buy video equipment and claim they are a production company. Second, our experience has shown us how to work smart and quick to capture great moments on video that will enhance and propel your message. StoryMo is a simple, entry level package customized around your message. There are other low cost providers, but we don’t see anyone delivering a quality, cost efficient package even close to our style of cinematic storytelling.
Is a StoryMo video easy to share on FaceBook and other social media?
Yes! The StoryMo Package is specifically designed as a powerful tool for small businesses, entrepreneurs, enterprises and non-profit organizations to tell their story in a way that integrates immediately with the current explosion of social media. Your StoryMo video embedded on the home page of your website will facilitate a personal connection to your message, product, or service. Post it on YouTube and Facebook and watch your StoryMo video find its way to people who care about what you are saying and are willing to share it with others.
Can you make my StoryMo video in a hurry?
We require a minimum of 7 calendars before any StoryMo video shoot in order to complete preparations and planning. If you need us to drop everything and make your StoryMo video immediately, please talk to us, we will be happy to oblige if we can. There will be an additional fee of $800 to RUSH production of your StoryMo video.
What happens if I need to add more than one location?
If you require more than one location to be visited on the day of the shoot in order to capture your story, we can add it for an additional fee of $400 per additional location. There is no charge to simply move our equipment to a new location in the same building or complex during the three hour shoot period. However, loading up our equipment and driving to a new location would incur the additional location fee. We are limited in how many locations we can visit in a day. If multiple locations are needed, please discuss this with your StoryMo Director Producer during the planning stage. We welcome projects that may require more than one day of shooting and will work with you to write a thoughtful plan to create your video and minimize your costs.
What happens if I need more than one person to be interviewed?
We can easily accommodate your request to interview additional people for a fee of $400 per person. This fee also adds another 20 minutes to the interview clock and covers our costs and time sorting through additional dialogue media to find the heart of your story and make sense of it when it is edited. Once again, planning is important and discussing your ideas with your StoryMo Director Producer is a requirement. If the number and length of desired interviews takes us too far from the basic StoryMo package, we will happily prepare a custom video proposal that will achieve your goals.
Can I earn a sales commission if I sell a StoryMo package?
Yes! We do have a associates program and we make the process very simple. All you need to do is fill out a form before the StoryMo video you helped sell is published on the Internet. We take care of the rest.
Do you have an affiliates program for talented director producers?
Yes! We are looking for skilled and experienced director producers who would like to add the “template” approach to their video communications business and represent StoryMo in their region.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Yes! If you change your mind after paying for a StoryMo video, and we have not shot your video, we will quickly refund all your money less a $200 false start consultation fee.
